Each year. We hold a competition to find a new PyLadies instructor to showcase on our site. This video will explain the details of the competition including how to apply to be the 2015 next plot is anytime instructor. This is our fifth annual. Next is anytime instructor competition. The winner of the competition will be flown to our studio in California from anywhere in the world to film classes that will be featured on our site.
After filming, you will come with us to the 2015 PMA conference in Denver, Colorado. You will receive a free conference pass to all the workshops and events and we'll have the opportunity to meet and network with many leaders in the industry. Finally, you will have a photo shoot at the PMA conference, which will be featured in a four page spread in Swati style magazine. You enter the competition. You will need to film yourself teaching one student five exercises on the reformer. These exercises are pulling straps, backstroke, teaser, semi circle, and kneeling chest expansion. We will not accept any videos with variations or modifications, so please follow all of our guidelines listed on our site to be qualified.
Your video must be between four and 10 minutes in length. Any video too short or too long will not be accepted. The competition is open to any instructor who has completed a comprehensive training program and has been teaching for at least five years. The detailed rules and regulations can be found on [inaudible] anytime.com after filming your video, you must upload it to YouTube and then copy and paste the URL into your application on Palladio's anytime.com if you aren't experienced with cameras, don't worry. We have another video that will give you tips to film with your smartphone, will also tell you what we're looking for and what is considered variation or a modification.
The deadline to send in your application is May 31st, 2015 try to send it in early in case or any problems that need to be fixed in your application or your video. After we receive all the applications, our panel of judges will review the videos. Julie driver, right yellow Sokowitz. Carrie Macey, Tom McCook and Karen Sanzo. The judges will select 10 finalists who will be announced in early July. This submissions of the finals will be posted on Palladio's anytime.com where our members can then vote for their favorite video. Their winner will be announced in mid September.
