This was SUPER helpful. Thank you, Monica! P.S. I love #2017 -- any chance you would be willing to do a one hour class (classical) just like that one in the future? THANK YOU! :)
Thank you so much for such a detailed explanation of the transitions. I noticed that you tended to always go to your right to make spring changes. Would this not over time create imbalance? Or is there a reason, beyond dominate patterns, that you went to the right? Could you not change going to different sides especially as you teaser up? Would love to see more of the intermediate/advanced workouts with the atttenton to the details as a tutorial, but then a free flowing workout as well.
Lynn you are absolutely right! When I would take lessons with Romana, there would often be 3 or 4 of us moving swiftly to her every cue. In order for us not to bang into each other we would all agree to mount and dismount the apparatus from one side. However, I whole heartedly agree in this scenario, changing sides will keep you more balanced:)
Thanks Monica. Yes i can just imagine many of you all going at the same time. Crazy but fun. Thanks for all these details as it really helps to have a much clearer understanding.
Thank you Monica, this is so helpful to have clear transitions to keep the work out fluid. I also think that when teaching group classes, clear transitions make workout safer and allow fluidity. I am going to really watch this again and again.
Thank you Monica....I am an apprentice with USPA and really grateful to have this opportunity to see the smooth transition taking place. I will be referring to it often during my learning process....
