Level Ranking of a Class?

This may be a silly question but I'm a little confused.

Levels 1, 2, and 3 make sense. 1 being easy, 3 being hard.

What about 1/2 and 2/3? Is 1/2 easier than 1 or between levels 1 and 2?

Maybe levels 1 - 5 instead of half levels would be easier to understand. Just a suggestion.
Lisa ~ A level 1/2 class is between a level 1 and level 2 class. It would be comparable to beginner/intermediate and a level 2/3 class would be intermediate/advanced. These transition levels are for those transitioning to the next level. The instructors usually add exercises to help them prepare for the next level. The levels can always be hard to determine because it is very subjective. I hope this helps though!
