Hello To My Community I’ve been a member for 3 years and I’m reaching out to get suggestions and recommendations for a home reformer for my daughter who lives alone and understands the health benefits of having a reformer. Please send me you top recommendation for a quality reformer that’ll work in small quarters / needs to be folded / or tucked away. Thank you community!
I everyone! I am new to the pilates community. I started taking Reformer classes at my local gym and am debating on getting one for my home. I have been a fitness enthusiast for 35 years and now have found myself working through labral tears on my right hip as well as developed some right hip arthritis. Too many years of running, cycling and overuse. I am worried that investing in a Studio B reformer, for the high price ticket, that I would be better off doing mat pilates or dumbbells to keep up my bone density and muscle mass. I am 53 and worried that I won't get what I am looking for with this investment. Should I continue to do reformer a few days a week at the gym and doing mostly dumbells weight and mat pilates with yoga more overall workouts. I was thinking a reformer paid over time from gym classes would be ideal if it would give me muscle strength long term. Not only used for flexibility or mobility or alignment. I don't want to invest in a reformer for those reasons only. Am I correct or does anyone have any insight please??
