I am among the many, recently addicted to pilates. Now that I have that out in the open (feels like an AA intro), I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on great books about pilates. Not looking for anything specific, just throw some titles out here into video land if you happen upon this post. Thanks in advance!
Pilates by Rael Isacowitz.. Mine is threadbare by now ,course it was my bible when I was earning my certification from BASI. I just bought a new one to replace it. Even if you are'nt a student of pilates, its a wonderful book. It is part manual in nature since its used during course work but if you are learning Pilates please read it! Rael is my hero and so gifted in his teachings.
Of course, Return to Life is a must read as well as Your Health, both by Joseph Pilates. Important to see/read/feel the historical references from this extraordinary man!
