A native of Pittsburgh to international educator, Andrea Maida began her study of the Pilates method starting in 2000.
Andrea is a graduate of Vintage Pilates' inaugural classes, The Work and Teaching the Work, a two year intensive study taught by world-class instructors including 1st Generation Master Teacher and student of Joseph Pilates, Jay Grimes. Other instructors include Sari Mejia-Santo, Junghee Won, Cynthia Lochard, and Kathryn Ross-Nash.
Andrea is the creator of an award-winning blog ranked #9 in the Top 75 Pilates Blogs and Websites to Follow in 2018 by Feedspot.com and her blog was named one of 3 Pilates Blogs to Follow by About.com.
