Never underestimate the power of a restart!
The number one way to fix most problems with video playback is to restart your device.
Depending on what kind of streaming media player you're using, there will be a different way to restart it. It usually involves finding the Restart or Reboot option in the menu system.
If your video seems to be buffering a lot, or the video starts and stops, the most likely cause is a slow internet connection.
The minimum download bandwidth we suggest for streaming videos is 15 mbps.
To test the current speed of your connection, follow these steps:
Take a computer, phone or tablet to the same place in your home or office where you want to watch videos
If your download speed is below 15mbps, here are some suggestions:
Get closer to your WiFi router
Sometimes the problem is that you are simply too far from your Wifi router. It's common for buildings to have WiFi dead spots. Your connection might be great in some parts of the house, but too slow in others.
Plug in your device
If your device has an ethernet port, and you have an ethernet cable, you can try plugging directly into your router. This is often faster than using WiFi.
It's possible there is a problem with your device that's not easily fixed.
