Never underestimate the power of a restart!
The number one way to fix most problems with video playback is to restart your device.
Depending on what kind of phone or tablet you're using, there will be a different way to restart it. For example, if you have an iPad or iPhone you hold down the lock button and the home button at the same time for a few seconds until the device restarts.
Sometimes there's an issue with a particular web browser that keeps our videos from playing well.
Please try using a different web browser to see if that helps.
Examples of web browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox.
Some phones and tablets may have degraded video playback performance when the battery is low. Charge your device until the battery is full and try again.
If your video seems to be buffering a lot, or the video starts and stops, the most likely cause is a slow internet connection.
The minimum download bandwidth we suggest for streaming videos is 15 mbps.
To test the current speed of your connection, follow these steps:
Take a computer, phone or tablet to the same place in your home or office where you want to watch videos
If your download speed is below 15mbps, here are some suggestions:
Get closer to your WiFi router
Sometimes the problem is that you are simply too far from your Wifi router. It's common for buildings to have WiFi dead spots. Your connection might be great in some parts of the house, but too slow in others.
Plug in your device
If your device has an ethernet port, and you have an ethernet cable, you can try plugging directly into your router. This is often faster than using WiFi.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can download our app from the app store. Search for "Pilates Anytime" in the app store, or click here
Sometimes videos will play better on the app than via a web browser.
Also, the app gives you the option to download videos for offline viewing, so you can download the entire video to your phone or tablet ahead of time to make sure your playback will be seamless.
It's possible there is a problem with your device that's not easily fixed.
You may wish to try watching videos on a different device. Here are some devices you can use to watch our videos:
