Today is the launch of our annual plotters anytime. Instructor competition where our judges and members on our site choose who will be the next [inaudible] anytime instructor. The winner of this competition will be flown from anywhere in the world to Santa Barbara, California where they will fill in their plays anytime classes afterward. They will be cloned to Phoenix, Arizona with an all access pass to the PMA conference at the conference the winter. We'll have a photo shoot with blotty style magazine to be later featured in a four to six page spread in the future issue. Last year's winner, Sarah Calhoun actually made the cover of the magazine.
This is a first for any of our competition winners. We have two main requirements. In order to enter the competition, you must have a minimum of five years teaching experience and have completed a comprehensive training program. Other than that, you'll need some kind of video recording device and be sure to follow our submission guidelines. We have another video linked in the description that offers tips on how to film yourself using a mobile device. So watch that. If you don't have much experience with cameras for your submission video, we want you to teach one student five specific floodways exercises on the one to chair. We have used the exercise names as stated in the PMA certification study guide.
You after sizes are as follows, cat reverse one pull up forward lunge and swan front. You should set up each exercise in the way that you were taught that. Make sure to teach the standard exercise without anything extra for the cat. Make sure your student is kneeling on the chair using two hands. The reverse one should not have any props added for assistance in the leg should be out straight. Also, the exercise should just include the roll back and roll up.
Any added extension or undulations will be considered a variation. We would like to see the pull up with both feet on the pedal with your body facing the chair. The forward lunge should be done without holding onto a wall or in the handles. And for this one front we just want to see the extension, not the arm presses. Anything extra that we have not shown in this demonstration is considered a variation. You cannot have any variations or modifications in your video, so we recommend that your students be at least an intermediate [inaudible] practitioner themselves.
You will be judged not only on your knowledge and application of the [inaudible] method, but also on safety communication with your student and most importantly engagement with the viewer watching at home. Your video must be between four and 10 minutes long. Anything over 10 minutes will not be accepted. The deadline for submission video is on May 29th, 2016 if your submission video meets all of our requirements, it will then be screened by our distinguished panel of judges who represent a wide variety of body styles. This year's judges are Benjamin and Heart Shelly power, Michael Lynn tones, Kara Reeser, and last year's contest winners. Sarah Company.
The judges will narrow all the submissions down to 10 finalists or Pleiades anytime. Members will then vote on who they want to see on the site next, the winner will be announced in September. Detailed rules and guidelines around linkedin and description of this video. We can't wait to see your submissions this year. Good luck.
