Wow Deborah this was immensely satisfying and gratifying. I am grateful that you point out that it's not about mist dragging things around to make an action happen. ie.glutes or side leg. I am also glad that you verbalized the need to re-wire patterns so you start to see how it's all part of all of the Pilates work, and that many exercises then become accessible. Thank you for your caring, articulate yet anatomical correct teaching. We are more than glutes and abs.
I am facinated by the feet and this tutorial was so informative. The idea of length in the sole of the foot is something I will definitly be working on in my own personal practice and also helping my clients find it themselves!
Will be coming back to this time and again as not quite sure I'm feeling it where it is intended although after standing back up definitely am very conscious of the work that my hips have been doing....thank you for such a thoughtful progression between the apparatus.
This was such a terrific tutorial on how to use the foot corrector and what is happening with the foot up through the body. Enjoyed the carry through with the exercises. Used my foot corrector today!
This was fabulous. I get lots of congestion in the ankle joints, and walk like a zombie first thing in the morning until the ankle warms up enough to bend. I did this class in the morning (with a tennis ball, as I don't have a foot corrector). It felt great and best of all, next day: no zombie walk! Thank you!
Ximena ~ Thank you for your forum post. At the moment we are not adding Spanish subtitles to additional classes. When we start this project again, we will definitely include this video to the list. I hope you enjoyed it!
