First off I need to be invited again to teach!!! Secondly, depends on what you mean by "super advanced" how would you define it for yourself?...not a large audience for "super advanced" and I find that the risks vs. benefits begin to get outnumbered. Especially in an online medium like this. Working harder and deeper with more concentration and full connection to the breath is also a way to experience a more physical workout. Happy Holiday everyone!
Unfortunately, I am not in a position to invite you to Teach again on this site, but, one would hope that those that make these decisions have been carefully watching the comments your Mat class attracted, and will take note! I am sure you are correct in everything you say in your note. It is everyone's choice if they wish to participate in any exercise! A definition of "Super Advanced" to my simple way of thinking is to include more challenging and complex Pilates exercises. I very much like your matwork, and thank you for always responding.
Love the class...have a DVD with her as the instructor. She is intense, but the images she gives are very easy to follow and makes the class difficult but manageable.
I enjoyed you class Maria Leone , thank you. Your skill level in doing the exercises and teaching them was impressive and enjoyable. I was very impressed with your push up, to do it with such exquisite alignment along with the depth you took it to was a pleasure to watch, and try. I don't see the value in trying to keep the pelvis, lower spine completely still....it is just not the way the body works, as I see it, but that will be a discussion over a coffee some day. I look forward to taking your class again...and maybe even meeting in person. Brett
