Stacey S Hi, good question. I suggest you raise the torso higher into a flat back, and bring the hand across to a higher position on the upright footbar strut. Elevating the shoulders and lessening the range should reduce any discomfort, but let me know how you go.(Does depend on the equipment dimensions also)
In the lifted position, still focus on keeping pelvis even over both legs and lengthening the spine .. will still be plenty of work! Looking forward to hear if this helps. 😃
