How often should this routine be performed?
Can these exercises make you extremely sore the next day?

Hi Vikki S -- Natalia from the Pilates Anytime Team here!

In regards to how often to take the class - the frequency is up to you!  If you plan to only take this class, repeating the flow 2 to 3 times a week is encouraged to allow your body time to get used to the movement as well as recover.

As for soreness, it will depend on where you are in your fitness journey! Sometimes if we perform movement that is different from our day to day, we will most likely experience some soreness for a day or two after taking a class. But as long as you are not pushing yourself to injury, soreness will be a good sign that your muscles are being challenged with new movement!

Hi Natalia thank you for jumping in!
Hi Vikki, as Natalia mentioned is normal to feel general soreness when we try something new... on top of that ELDOA postures look like stretching but we are actually putting muscles and fascia in tension to obtain the de-coaptation of the joints... that's why you might feel a little soreness in the next few days.
If the area of soreness is only at the trap area and neck maybe take more breaks in between positions since most of them require the arms up over head and for some individual could be too much.
Please reach out if you have more questions either here in the forum or with a private message. Happy to help and discuss further! ilaria
