Lenize G Hi Lenize, sorry for responding only now. Yes! You can still do the movement of flexion and extension but you'll need to prop the head up with pillows so that you reach a better alignment and not too much strain goes in the neck. Also, when you cue the "chin in" always prioritize the axial extension more than the actual chin in. That's always the most important thing for eldoa. Everything should be pretty gentle (mostly when the neck is involved) and as you add different micro movements and details you will see how the bigger picture will start to change and the posture will improve. let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions!
Elyse D You are very welcome! Yes, those spiral movements that we do with the arms put the fascia (the connective tissue) in tension and that will also help with inflammation and adhesions that we might have along the arm. Thank you for the feedback!
Janice M Thank you Janice! ELDOA is really tough but the feeling when you are done is priceless! 😉 Happy you enjoy the class
MKV Wonderful! Thank you 🙏🏼
Claudia K Thank you Claudia. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ilaria Cavagna I'd really love to try more of this!
Lisa E
That was so great! Thanks Ilaria for your clear instruction. I had a hard time maintaining the positions but will keep practicing these. Also, can you explain the big toe lift? I am assuming it has to do with fascial lines?
Lisa E It's absolutely normal for this work to be challenging... the more your body improves the more subtle details you will be able to work on... that means it will always be kind of challenging 😜 Like Pilates! The big toe up is to put the fascia of the lower limbs in tension through a spiral that we create with the head of the first meta, the navicular bone, the calcaneus, the knee and the hip.... On top of this that big toe up also creates more stability at the foot that otherwise wants to supinate because of the tension that we feel at the hip flexors... Hope this helps! let me know if you have any other questions and keep me posted on how the practice is going!
