Thank you Amy for helping me re-discover my breath! It's amazing how it gets so easily lost in our movements. And for someone who tends to hold her breath, this class was quite a challenge for me! This class was a true mind/body sync! Going into my favorites list!
Hi Annie!! Oh, you are so welcome and thank you for posting this. I couldn't agree more....that it's so easy to get lost in the movements but might forget the source of these movements--our breath. This is such a compliment....."this class was a try mind/body sync", THANK YOU!!!
Good class. Just one comment, it would help if you counted the exercises so when we view from home we know how many to do. A little more explanation would be helpful. Otherwise it was a great workout. Thank you
Hi Loures....thank you for your comment. I will try to do a better and more consistent job of counting. I'm usually pretty good, however, this class was different I agree. I 'got lost' in things, feeling very much 'in the moment' at times......leading to a bit of non-counting. Thanks for point that out and giving me the comment.
Hi Elizabeth, thank you for commenting on this class. Yes, sometimes we/I teach to the teachers who may be watching as well as our students. I believe that although a student may not know all the names of the exercises initially, they need to hear them to begin recognizing and understanding them. They will begin to associate and move organically, the Pilates way. I will be more cognizant in the future to speak to the student more directly, although I feel I do that quite well most of the time.
